2. Description of Service

Plannerly provides tools that allow professionals, freelancers, and service-based businesses to create and manage public business pages, accept client bookings, organize customer interactions, and generate invoices related to services offered through the platform.

Plannerly may be used by a variety of industries and independent professionals, including creatives, consultants, and small businesses.

Features may change, improve, or be removed over time.

Payments

Certain services offered through Plannerly may require payment.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. By making a payment through Plannerly, you agree to the terms and conditions of the applicable payment provider.

Plannerly may collect payments on behalf of service providers and may retain a commission or service fee from completed transactions.

Service Providers

Page Owners are solely responsible for the services they advertise, offer, schedule, and deliver through Plannerly.

Page Owners are responsible for ensuring that descriptions, pricing, availability, and other information displayed on their pages are accurate and up to date.

Provider Payouts

Plannerly may hold booking payments for a reasonable period before releasing funds to the relevant Page Owner.

Funds may be withheld where necessary to investigate disputes, process refunds, comply with legal obligations, or prevent fraudulent activity.

3. User Accounts

Users are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials,
  • ensuring information provided is accurate,
  • and all activity conducted through their accounts.

Chargebacks and Refunds

Page Owners acknowledge that refunds, chargebacks, payment reversals, and dispute-related costs may arise after a booking has been completed.

Plannerly may deduct such amounts from future payouts or take other reasonable steps to recover amounts owed to the platform.

Cancellations and Refunds

Booking cancellations, disputes, and refunds are governed by Plannerly's Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • use Plannerly for illegal activities,
  • create fraudulent invoices,
  • distribute spam or malicious content,
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts,
  • interfere with platform functionality.

5. Ownership of Content

Users retain ownership of the data and content they create within Plannerly.

By using the platform, you grant Plannerly permission to process and store data solely for the purpose of providing services.

6. Service Availability

Plannerly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service.

7. Limitation of Liability

Plannerly shall not be liable for:

  • incorrect invoices,
  • tax or accounting errors,
  • financial losses,
  • business interruptions,
  • or damages resulting from use of the platform.

Users are responsible for reviewing all generated invoices and records before use.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • violate these terms,
  • engage in abusive behavior,
  • or misuse the platform.

9. Changes to the Service

Plannerly may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Plannerly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in South Africa, where relevant.

12. Independent Businesses

Plannerly acts solely as a technology platform that enables professionals and clients to connect and manage bookings and invoices.

Plannerly is not responsible for the quality, delivery, legality, safety, or performance of services provided by users of the platform.

Any agreements, services, or transactions entered into between users and their clients are solely the responsibility of those parties.
